Join Peter Liddle for an early evening talk on “How to Build a Castle” in The Old Barn at The 1620s House & Garden.
Kirby Muxloe Castle was probably Leicestershire’s first brick building, built during the Wars of the Roses, but thanks to the amazing survival of the original building accounts we have been able to establish quite a few details of how it was built.
Peter Liddle will explain all this…and the connection to Donington le Heath Manor House!
