Join witch-mark expert Alison Fearn as she explores the protective marks at The 1620s House, folklore and beliefs.
This talk looks at the marks to be found within the 1620s house, what they mean and how they protected the people who made them.
It’s not all about the witches!
The illustrated talk will be followed by a short tour inside the 700 year old house where our collection of marks can be found.

Nick Gravestock, our resident lutenist will give an illuminating talk with musical examples about the involvement of prominent lutenist composers with the stage in the Elizabethan and Jacobean period.
