Focusing on the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top priority. In line with national guidance and government recommendations we have taken the difficult decision to cancel any events involving the public or large gatherings until further notice. This will mean we will cancel all current events at 1620s House and Gardens, close the tearoom and postpone the opening of the house and garden until further notice. We are proceeding with this closure effective immediately and would ask all customers to bear with us through these unprecedented times.
Closing our attraction, along with other attractions across the nation, will mean tougher times ahead for those working in the tourism industry. We ask that you continue to support our attraction by rearranging your visit for a later date or change the event you are attending for later in the year so that you can continue to support 1620s House and Gardens once it re-opens. For those who have booked tickets for a specific event who would like a full refund we will of course be able to help with this.
We will be experiencing high volumes of calls and enquiries on our social media pages over the next few days and we ask that you remain patient while we work through these to reassure and respond to our customers.
We’re all in this together and will continue to closely monitor the situation and will make sure our approach reflects the latest Government guidelines. Keep up to date by visiting: www.gov.uk/coronavirus and follow our social media channels.
